Description: This unique antique music book is in truly excellent condition! I acquired this book along with a large lot of sheet music and music books from the 1910s through the mid 1940s. A lovely woman named Hazel from Northeast Iowa collected this music, and much of it has her name written on it in pencil. This particular book has no markings, no names or rips, bent corners. It is in beautiful condition! I've been unable to locate another copy of this book on the internet, and there are no dates in this book. I have looked through every single page top to bottom to try to find a date. There is no date or publisher. The next step to identify what decade it was made, I looked up the songs on the inside table of contents list and all of them were written in the late 1800s. The telephone was also invented in late 1800s, but in 1890 only 1% of households had a telephone. By 1940, 50% of households had a telephone. Based on that information, the songs, the quality of the paper, and where it's at in the box lot of music, I've identified this book as being published somewhere between 1920 and 1940; most likely in the late 1920s.
