Description: Here we have a pretty scarce piece. It is an original advertising brochure from the Watling Mfg. Company of Chicago Illinois 4650 Fulton Street to be exact. They produced all kind of Coin Operated machines. The sales brochure is not dated but by the 4 digit phone number listed on the brochure, and the fact they are encouraging you to “WIRE” the order in, I imagine it is from the 1920’s-1930’s era (not to mention the prices of $85 for a slot machine). The brochure features a Twin Jackpot Front Vendor Slot Machine illustration on the cover. The inside cover features illustrations of the Coin Oporated Watling Blue Seal Pin Game (early pinball) , while the back Features illustrations of the Tom Thumb Fortune Telling Coin Op. Weight Scales. The brochure clearly has some condition issues, such as tears, creasing some water staining, but considering it is probably over 80 years old and most were probably thrown out when the new models were introduced, it’s a minor miracle it survived at all. (not to mention surviving the WW2 paper drives). It measures 8 ½ inches by just under 11 inches approximately when closed. I have taken pictures of the front , inside and back fro you to be able to judge condition for yourself. I doubt many of these have survived over the years. Don’t Miss Out.
