A quality way to replace your center rear filler on your 1978-87 Chevrolet El Camino, El Camino SS, CHOO CHOO Custom, Diablo, Conquista, Royal Knight, Black Knight, GMC Caballero. Replaces GM part number # 796922This is not a cheap plastic piece. The chemical makeup is like OEM. It uses superior 40 year old TPO/TPUR compounds and technology. What is "TPO/TPUR compound" . What this means it is the same feeling as OEM but a little less flexible. So when it is painted it will not sag in 30 years like OEM. We had new molds built off the last production runs of the original units. However we made sure that the chemical makeup was better than GM's originals. You will not see the pock marks in the fillers & they are ready to scuff, adhesion promote and paint. Since the material is a TPO/TPUR compound you will want to use an adhesion promoter to be done by a qualified body shop. They look and feel just like the original GM units, just a better chemical composition. They flex but a tiny bit firmer than OEM. Once painted it should last upwards of 60 years.
