The brooch features a center stone oval cabochon garnet of approx. 4.00 carats surrounded by numerous seed pearls all set in gold. The center of the brooch leads to an outer border of eight (8) alternating round cut, claw set, well matched garnets with collet set seed pearls. Each garnet in the outer border is approx. 0.10 carats making the total outer garnets weight approx. 0.80 carats. The underside is stamped 9, 375 with a faded animal head and a date letter, accompanied by the maker's initials H.B The brooch features a roll over style pin closure for added security. The length of the brooch is 1 1/8 inches and the height/width is 15/16". The antique display box in the photos is EXCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED with the brooch.
