Description: Vintage Phil Barone Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece. Marked on top, "Precision Crafted Brooklyn, N.Y." and "Made with pride May 25, 1994". It has a large chamber and low baffle, similar to the Hollywood model. This one originally had an epoxy baffle installed, but it was crumbling, so we removed it. There are grooves in the baffle area to help secure an epoxy baffle. Play it as is for a rich dark tone or add a baffle for more edge. Marked, .115, but has been opened to .120. This is from the estate of a player who frequented Ralph Morgan's (Morgan Mouthpiece Company) workshop regularly, so quite likely, this one was refaced and opened by Ralph in the 1990s.
