(This is the way the piece was designed). It has only ever been displayed in an enclosed cabinet, in a smoke-free home and is in great condition, no cracks or chips, and original light works great! - please note photos for condition- (any manufacturers' flaws that are unique to ceramic buildings of this nature.)
