Had a terrible time at school being short sighted and no one knew. Asked to leave school at 15 with no qualifications. Joined the Royal Air Force. Worked on Lightnings and Jaguars. Left the RAF and went to Bell Street Tech and left with an Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Went on to build Hawk aircraft, worked on Air Traffic Control Systems in the UK and overseas. Worked on the new aircraft carriers. Then on a passport control project that got cancelled and was made redundant. Then eBay started. Over past few years have amassed 17,000 feedbacks. Have learnt a huge amount about eBay and how it works. Have given seminars on eBay one was planned for 40 minutes at the British Library. Was eventually rescued after 3 hours. The questions just never stopped. I asked why am I so popular the reply was you know what you are talking about.
