Don’t let the Single/Sided throw you off, this authentic one sheet was attained at the Portland, Oregon Premiere of Fight Club hosted by Lloyd Center Cinemas with Portland’s own Fight Club author, Chuck Palahniuk, in attendance. After the closing credits we exited the theater into the lobby to find a fresh stack of single/sided one sheets. I grabbed one, my friend took one, we hung back awhile and introduced ourselves to Chuck (the man is the coolest) who was more than impressed with the film adaptation of his work. On our way out, my friend and I purposely trekked back to the lobby bench still stacked with these one sheet posters. We both looked around and each took another one. Then a 20th Century Fox rep exited the theater and told us to grab more. “Take as many as you want.” he said with salt. When he saw how happy and thankful we were to get more posters, he asked one of the more annoying questions I’d ever been asked, “You guys actually liked that movie?” I was Jack’s complete lack of faith in humanity. As you guessed it, this single/sided movie poster is one of the ten or so I snagged that night, and it’s my very last one left… His name was Robert Paulson…
