Description: New Bench Grinder Eye Shield Kit includes two new cast acrylic eye shields with stainless steel brackets, two mounting rods, and related hardware. This replaces Baldor PN GA11 but can be used on various bench grinders that use a 5/16 dia mounting arm. For Baldor they are used on all the 6in Bench Grinders (610, 612, 622, 632, 623, 662...etc.) and the 7in Bench Grinders (712, 762, 7307...etc.) The original Baldor eye shield design used rivets to hold the acrylic to the metal bracket but these use stainless steel carriage screws with zinc-plated nylon locknuts so that you can easily replace the acrylic eye shields in each bracket (as they do get scratched over time). The bracket itself is also made of stainless steel so it is very corrosion resistant (especially compared to the original Baldor eye shields). The acrylic panes are made from clear, cast acrylic and are laser cut so that the edges are smooth and transparent. Included is a free set of replacement 5 x 4 acrylic eye shields as shown!
