Description: ORIGINAL VIETNAM U.S. M-1961 COMBAT FIELD PACK DATED 1963. This pack (sometimes referred to as a "butt pack") is made of olive drab cotton duck & web. It is marked U.S. on the front flap along with the nomenclature on the inside flap dated "63" in the contract number. The pack is in very good serviceable condition showing some light field wear. There is no damage such as rips, tears, holes or fray. The inner rubberized throat is intact & pliable. All of the metal hardware is present.
