Description: Gorgeous circa 1920's, Ditmar - Urbach ceramic vase, created and designed in Czechoslovakia.Pieces are sometimes referred to as "Alienware" because they actually look like an alien when you view them. The handles display as the ears, in the middle you will find an elongated nose, with the eyes and mouth being obvious. Then the beautifully wild abstract glaze making each piece completely unique from the next, and creating an original appearance like no other ceramics you will find. The glaze adds to the overall essence. This piece here is little more obscure or rare, being that actually looks like an alien (if you want to see it as that), while others that are referred to as Alienware just have the unique crackled glaze look. Please note that I have another matching vase that I am selling in a separate listing. Both pieces are in nice original condition with maybe the slightest possibility for the tiniest bit of wear to maybe be found in a spot. No large cracks, chips, gouges, breaks, etc... And ready to display now!!Each vase measures roughly 12" tall, 4.5" in diameter, and 5" wide handle to handle. Please note that the shipping cost includes both professional outsourced packing, and insured shipping to your door! Please view all of the photos carefully as they are part of the description, And ask any questions you have before buying. For eBay's best photo detail viewing quality, make sure to click on the image itself to enlarge it, then scroll though.Thank you for looking at this piece! Please save us as a seller to see more good stuff. All pieces are located in Lynnwood, WA, 98036.More info can be requested through messaging, or look us up online! DISCLAIMER: Please note - There are NO RETURNS unless there is a unique circumstance agreed upon between myself the seller, and you the buyer. Between all of my photos, detailed description, and your option to ask questions beforehand, there should be no discrepancy whatsoever in what it is that you are receiving. And I think you will sometimes find my pieces to be even better in person once you receive them! Check my feedback!! By bidding/winning an auction, or purchasing a piece BIN, you are committing to buying and accepting this piece as is!! Please do no ruin auctions for others, or take away other potential buyers chances to buy a piece they may want. It's a giant waste of time for everyone involved. So please make sure you are serious when bidding!! Can you go back to your local auction house and return pieces for a full refund after bidding everyone else out, winning, paying, and taking the piece home?? Or can you go into your local antique store and demand a full refund after holding onto or using a piece for 30 days?? The same normal everyday rational rules of human engagement apply here!! Treasure hunting for you is how I pay the bills. It takes quite a bit of time to sell each piece from beginning to end; Searching for, procuring it, cleaning it up, researching, photography, all the middle parts you see when you are on eBay looking, then high quality thoughtful packing, shipping, etc. I am running a very small honest business, not an Amazon or Walmart. Most of my pieces are vintage or antique, and sometimes have the possibility of showing a little bit of character. I will always do my very best to disclose everything to my full ability. Ask me anything you want!! I am easy to work with and here for you!!
