Description: Found at a local high-end estate sale, this lovely little teapot appears quite old. Probably dates from very early in the 1900's, this Chinese Cadogon tea pot is made from pottery, and stands just under 4 inches tall. Notice in the photos that the water is entered in a portal on the bottom, probably making a single cup at a time. Great condition, no chips, no cracks, but there is some dark residue all around in the deep crevices, and looks a lot like carbon, perhaps from heating it directly in a firepit or fireplace.
