This tea pot is from the Mid 20th century, made about 1950-1959 in Yi Xing, China. Yi Xing is known for its traditional Yixing clay ware tea pots. This dark brown teapot is made out of terracotta and has a moveable dragon head steam release, detailed impressed dragon embellishment on each side, dragon tail embellishment around the handle and a patterned, stamped lid.
