Description: Retro 10k Yellow Gold Amethyst Paste Cocktail Statement Ring 1940s Art Deco Style AS IS Here we have a bold statement or cocktail ring from the retro era (ca. 1940s) crafted in 10k rosy yellow gold with one large amethyst-colored paste stone in a four-prong bezel setting. The ring features tapered shoulders with linear fanned detail, emphasizing the glamorous appearance of the purple hued stone. The ring is in good vintage condition. The stone shows scratches from regular wear under a 10x magnification jeweler's loupe at both the girdle and the facets on the underside of the stone, however, the stone is eye-clean when worn. The shank is in excellent shape as are the prongs themselves. Under 10x magnification, you'll see there are old repairs made to the bezel just at the shoulder. THe shank is inscribed MGH.
