Soviet Russian Order Medal of Bravery, Researched, 1945, East Prussia-Poland

Description: Soviet Russian USSR WWII Bravery Medal with serial number in the 3-million range, awarded for bravery in combat to private Ivan Lashkevich, a rifleman of the 538th Rifle Regiment, 142nd Rifle Division. The citation reads as follows: “In battle on 15.01.1945, when the advance of our units was impeded by an enemy machine gun, he crawled unnoticed toward the MG and suppressed it with a grenade.” Condition is as seen in the images! The serial number of the award is authentic and matches the serial number shown in the archival documents, obviously!
