The Company were in the business of Safes and related products. Beautifully weighted and shouts quality. Wouldn't of been a cheaply made product in its day. There is a replacement steel threaded bolt, nut and washer at the reverse for fixing to the door - the brass has been carefully polished which would grace any period front door.
