This ring is circa 1950s. It is in very good pre-owned condition. This cabochon blue star sapphire is most likely lab-created (it has a kind of "perfect" star when under direct light. It is a very nice medium blue color, not dark and not light. It measures approximately 9 x 7 mm (about 2.20 ct) and is bezel set in the center, with an arc of diamonds (around .10 ctw) on one side. One side of the mounting is brushed/textured, and the other side is polished white gold. The face measures 1/2" north to south. It is hallmarked 10k, weighs a hefty 6 grams and is a size 9.25.
