Description: Scarce & exquisite vintage Y's Yohji Yamamoto floor-length windbreaker duster! Made in Japan, of the most satisfying black 50% silk / 50% nylon blend. For me, this is the ideal fabrication--the luxury & timelessness of silk, & the futuristic, tech-y cool of nylon. It has a crisp, lightweight, taffeta-esque texture, & I suspect it might be water-resistant (haven't tried, but it seems likely!). Ultra long maxi length, with a dramatic center back slit (approx. 38.75") to enhance the cape-like flow behind the wearer as they walk. Open front with lapels. Unlined, but thoughtfully reinforced/2-ply at lapels to anchor the lightweight material where it matters. Slant pockets. Marked designer-specific size 4, but fits a range/works as unisex. Overall very good vintage condition--some minor surface wear (light grayish surface marks/wear along inner collar)/rumpling.
