Description: Up for sale is a copy of Whitman's Jefferson Nickel Coin Folder #9009. The booklet covers the Jefferson Nickel from its inception in 1938 thru 1959. Included are slots for the interesting World War II-era "Silver" nickels with their large mint marks above the dome of the Jefferson Memorial. The dates are printed under the slot for each nickel up through 1954. Dad hand-wrote the dates for the rest of this the slots in this booklet. The back page gives a brief description of the history of the Jefferson Nickel. This Whitman Jefferson Nickel folder has a copyright of 1952. This coin booklet is in Like New Shape and comes from my father's extensive coin collection which he started in 1934 and continued through his death 10 years ago. I am in the process of selling portions of his vast stash! Dad liked these booklets and had Whitman folders for every type of coin produced by the various US mints. With my help he filled dozens of these booklets and enjoyed showing them to family and friends. But as is the case with most of us, Dad often forgot what booklets he already had. So every time he went to a coin store, he would buy a couple of more. So far I have found 37 of these unused Whitman Coin Books for all types of coins.
